Technical Recruiter (APAC)

CAI is a 100% employee-owned company providing commissioning, qualification, validation, start-up, project management and other consulting services associated with operational readiness to the pharmaceutical and other mission-critical industries.
In this role you will need a good level of self-motivation, maturity, and personal integrity. You will directly support our hiring managers across Asia which includes Singapore, Korea, Australia and China with occasional other APAC country involvement based on client and project needs. 
You’ve worked within technical recruitment with an agency or as an in-house talent acquisition specialist for 3-5 years for and you’re looking to be part of something more fulfilling.

Achieved staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers
Established recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and met with managers to discuss needs
Built applicant sources through proactive sourcing and building relationships with industry groups, colleges, competitors, and referrals 
Attracts active applicants by advertising on online platforms, using social media and sourced passive candidates through direct, targeted headhunting
Evaluated applicants by discussing job requirements and assessing cultural fit
Avoided legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures when needed
Maintained a positive candidate experience and occasionally kept high potential candidates successfully engaged over a longer than expected hiring period
Liaising with HR for successful candidate onboarding
Stayed current by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Excelled working in a friendly, supportive yet high performing environment with liberal access to senior leaders in the region
Expected Qualifications/Skills:
Recruiting and interviewing skills
Phone, MS Teams, and online meeting platform skills
Supports workplace diversity
Skilled using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Proactive and able to cold approach passive candidates skillfully
Proactive communication style with both hiring managers and candidates
Familiarity with relevant employment Law
Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience recruiting in agency or in-house engineering recruiting. Engineering services highly desired and some exposure to the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Data Centre industries would be advantageous but not essential.
