Position Description:
CAI provides professional services to life science and data center industries.
The Project Scheduler role directly supports project scheduling activities as part of CAI project delivery, or as a direct scheduling service to our clients. The Project Scheduler works with Project Managers to provide project schedule setup, management, monitoring, and other schedule support to CAI projects. Project schedules include activities associated with the startup, commissioning, and handover of equipment and facilities from construction to the end user. Schedules may include design deliverables and operational readiness activities.
 
Position Responsibilities:
*PRIMARY FUNCTION: Develop and manage the project schedule with input from the Project Manager, setup the project schedule, maintain the project schedule, attend relevant project meetings, create and provide reports useful for the planning and management of the project.
*Provide ongoing support to the project scheduling efforts, including monitor and oversight of scheduling efforts.
*Answer questions about scheduling, provide guidance, provide troubleshooting, and other related support to Project Managers who are running their own schedule.
*GENERAL FUNCTION: Work with project stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules.
*Lead schedule development workshops and regular schedule meetings.
*Provide reports and other information necessary to communicate schedule related information, analysis, and to provide information necessary for work planning.
*Consult on scheduling best practices and assist project managers in the scheduling aspect of project management.
*Provide direct scheduling services to clients (vs. the scheduling responsibilities for CAI project scope). This responsibility may be in collaboration with the Program and Project Management (PPM) Business Area.
*Support Proposal Development; Develop high level schedules (level 2/3) during the proposal development phase for incorporation into the proposal/bid package and participate in client pre-bid meetings related to the topic of project schedule (as needed).
*Support the CAI Project Review Program; Participate in project reviews for projects that are being supported with scheduling services. Communicate with the Regional Manager and Global Director, PMO on project issues. May assist in resolving issues; however, the primary responsibility for project issue resolution is with the Regional Manager.
*Perform schedule review and auditing.

Requirements include: 
Position Requirements:
5 years’ minimum experience as a senior scheduler, Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules.
Experience with Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
Experience in the scheduling of construction or startup of facilities.
Practical knowledge of scheduling in the construction, startup, or operation of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities is highly desired. Ideal candidates have experience in commissioning and qualification of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Experience in general building commissioning or data center commissioning will also be considered.
Attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to summarize and present large amounts of information and communicate clear conclusions.
Ability to work from home independently, in an efficient and effective manner.
Ability to work across multiple departments and business areas.
Ability to work with staff where you have no direct authority.
Demonstrated competency in MS Excel, MS Word, Visio, and PowerPoint. Can effectively create final products in all four MS programs.
Ability to efficiently produce charts and graphs needed to effectively communicate schedule information.
Recognized certifications in scheduling practices are desired but not required.
Work in the US without sponsorship now or any time in the future
Must have been vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting employment

Work across various time zones with work schedule flexibility
Remote work will be pursued wherever possible; Travel may involve meeting with clients and CAI teams, key scheduling workshops, etc.
