Position Description:
As a Maintenance & Reliability Consultant, you provide technical and strategic expertise in terms of life cycle asset management implementation. Develops risk-based maintenance strategy plans that ensures our clients are protected against both compliance and business continuity risks. Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining reliability problems and makes recommendations for improvements. Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the reliability required for the particular situation considering the life cycle costs, client production demand and regulatory compliance expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Capture/Clarify/Align the strategic business objectives of our clients by creating a 3 to 5-year deployment plan that will quantify our clients’ current state and create a road map to address gaps where objectives are not being achieved.
Develop equipment system and location hierarchy
Perform criticality analysis and determine risk priority for various equipment
Create maintenance plans that contain failure modes mapped to technologies or task
Assess both condition and preventive maintenance maturity
Evaluate maintenance strategy plan
Conduct root cause failure analysis
Establish continuous improvement of the work planning and scheduling process through the review and use of maintenance metrics, analysis of work order flow, project demands and expectations.
Implements best practice maintenance, repair, operations (MRO) programs to minimize downtime for clients and avoiding unnecessary inventory write-offs
Position Requirements:
BS in an Engineering or Science field or equivalent experience
8 - 12 years of experience in reliability engineering and work management related processes
Certifications may include: CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer), CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professionals) and/or (CRL) Certified Reliability Leader
Experience in applying Six Sigma methodology. Black Belt certification a plus
Advanced understanding of reliability goals, growth and prediction
Demonstrated experience in supervising maintenance, operations, engineering principles, and activities as well as building and developing teams.
Development and implementation of site-specific risk-reducing strategies that meet and/or exceed established targets
Solid understanding of database structure with the ability to pull data, interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgment.
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques, i.e. Weibull a plus.
Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical systems (MEP and Process)
Other Requirements:
Excellent presentation skills in a group setting as well as one on one
Proficient in Microsoft office products, including Excel pivot tables and charting
Capable of functioning effectively in a team environment
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills coupled with the leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Able to travel domestically and internationally if required
Able to work (paid) overtime
Able to work in the US without sponsorship now or any time or in the future
