Position Description:
The Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Consultant will provide EHS consulting to CAI clients and support CAI project needs that involve EHS elements.  Consulting will primarily take place in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
The EHS Consultant will work with CAI project teams, Regional Managers, and Business Areas Leads to identify and respond to consulting opportunities.  Business Development for work associated with this role is NOT a current responsibility but it IS expected that the EHS Consultant will support estimating and proposal development for EHS consulting opportunities. Ability of the consultant to bring in new EHS consulting opportunities in the pharmaceutical manufacturing or data center industry is considered a plus.
This job may require the following:
·        Performing audits of client EHS programs and facilities and recommending improvements and corrective actions.
·        Providing technical guidance and code interpretation for facility design and construction
·        Completing EHS regulatory assessments of client operations
·        Developing EHS programs.
·        Supporting clients with EHS related permitting for facilities.
·        Understanding of Process Safety Management and ability to provide related consulting such as program implementation and/or process hazard analyses.
Position Requirements:
BS in a science, engineering, or occupational/environmental health and safety related field or equivalent years of experience. Professional certification such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM is considered a plus.
5-10 years' experience in occupational or environmental health and safety
The candidate MUST have experience in one or more of the following settings: pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, data center facilities, laboratories, manufacturing environment involving hazardous chemicals.
The candidate MUST have experience in developing EHS programs in these settings.
Excellent oral and written English is required
Able to travel domestically and internationally if required. 
Able to work (paid) overtime 
Able to work in the US without sponsorship now or any time or in the future
Other Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English/Fluent in English
Able to travel domestically and internationally as required.  Remote work will be pursued wherever possible.  25% travel may be needed.
