We are now seeking an Electrical Data Center Engineer to join our operations in Europe. The role of an Electrical DCx Engineer in CAI is to:
· Lead all aspects of safety for all electrical tests.
· Oversee complete commissioning and performance acceptance testing of the electrical infrastructure systems.
· Assignment of testing duties and oversight of electrical test engineers.
· Development of all electrical test procedures.
· QA/QC of all electrical test procedures.
· Provide input and insight to the overall commissioning plan.
· Compile reports for the electrical test engineers and issue a daily report to the Commissioning Project Manager
Position Requirements:
· BS or MS in a relevant science or engineering field, or equivalent
· Good written and spoken communication skills.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical P&IDs.
· Knowledge of mission critical design concepts.
· Knowledge of Electrical Distribution Switchgear, Substations, Uninterruptable Power Sources (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Batteries, Emergency Diesel Generators & Load Banks.
· Knowledge of power quality analysis.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Customer-service focused.
· Able to travel domestically and internationally if required.
